Profile Videos - Interviews with Demo Sailors
I accompanied Puur on several sessions with sailors who wanted to take the Puur 17 out for a test sail in their home-base lake. We followed these demo sailors out onto the water to capture drone and chase boat footage, then quickly and seamlessly transitioned to a sit-down interview where we could chat with them about their time with the boat. By weaving firsthand accounts with compelling action footage, able to create a series of powerful videos evincing of the boat’s quality and comfort for all kinds of sailors in all kinds of conditions.
Documentary Film - Building of a Puur 17
Brian is a software designer building of one of the first Puur Sailboats kits ever assembled. Puur and I have followed Brian’s progress throughout the project, interviewing him along the way and capturing plentiful footage of the boat’s various stages of construction. Once the build is complete, Puur will be provided with a documentary-style film highlighting their product and its experience—as well as myriad additional clips for use in their social media and other marketing venues.
Adventure Videos - On the Water with the Puur 17
Nothing shows the beauty and fun of a sailboat quite like seeing it on the water. I’ve accompanied the founder of Puur Sailboats—as well as a handful of additional sailors—to film sailing videos from Colorado (Aurora Reservoir, Lake Granby, and Lake Dillon) to Washington (Lake Wanapum) to Florida (Pensacola Bay). Trailing the sailors with a drone and/or a chase boat, I was able to capture the Puur 17 in some of its most quintessentially captivating moments.
